Christopher Wilkinson Sworn-in as Lawson, MO Postmaster

KANSAS CITY, MO— Christopher D. Wilkinson was installed as the new Postmaster in Lawson, MO at a brief ceremony held on March 19, it was announced by the U.S. Postal Service’s Kansas City-based Mid-America District.

A 16-year USPS veteran, Wilkinson began his USPS career as a part-time clerk at the King City, MO Post Office. He brings experience in delivery and customer service operations, having served as the Postmaster in Osborn, MO prior to being selected to serve as the Officer-in-Charge (acting Postmaster) of the Lawson Post Office in October 2012.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
