ST LOUIS — Retail services at St Louis Metropolitan Area Post Offices will be closed on Tuesday, November 11 In honor of Veterans Day. Regularly scheduled mail delivery, Post Office Box and caller services will be suspended for the holiday.
Mail will be delivered as scheduled on Wednesday, November 12. Post Offices also will resume regularly scheduled retail lobby hours on November 12
Customers who wish to purchase stamps, mail packages, or ship urgent letters or packages on September 1 may use the Automated Postal Center (APC). The ATM-like kiosk accepts credit or debit cards only and can handle about 80 percent of typical postal transactions – like weigh packages and dispense postage for Priority Mail, Priority Express Mail, First-Class and Parcel Post mail. APCs are accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Customers may visit www.usps.com to find an APC location.
Commercial customers are asked to check with their Bulk Mail Acceptance Unit for November 11 hours of operation. To obtain the phone number of a specific Post Office, customers may call 1-800-ASK-USPS.
