Jackson MS — The Sarah, Mississippi, Post Office, ZIP Code 38665, re-opened today.

On May 4, 2016, the U.S. Postal Service temporarily suspended operations at the Sarah Post Office due to water damage to the building, caused by flooding.  Repairs have been completed and the Post Office has resumed all operations and services.

During the temporary suspension, PO Box customers received mail service at the Crenshaw Post Office located at 609 Broad Street, Crenshaw, MS 38621.  All Sarah PO Box customers have received letters announcing the re-opening of the Sarah Post Office.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
