JACKSON MS –   Beginning November 9, 2016, the Neely, Mississippi, Post Office, located at 6427 Old Highway 24, Neely, MS 39461, will undergo an emergency suspension due to the expiration of its lease.

PO Box customers will receive mail service at the McLain, MS, Post Office, located at 103 W. Main Street, McLain, MS 39456. All customers currently receiving PO Box service have been notified of the emergency suspension and the new location of their PO Box at the McLain Post Office.

The McLain Post Office offers 24-hour lobby access to PO Box mail.  Hours of operation for retail services at the McLain Post Office are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to Noon, and Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Customers can call 1-800-ASK-USPS (1-800-275-8777) to obtain information, including available, alternate Post Office retail locations, or check the Postal Service website: www.usps.com. The Post Office is always open at www.usps.com. The Postal Service’s smartphone app makes it even quicker to use the most popular functions on usps.com, anytime and anywhere.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
