JACKSON MS -- The Postal Service has temporarily suspended operations at the Heidelberg, Mississippi, Post Office located at 105 N. Oak Avenue, Heidelberg MS 39439-9998, after torrential rains caused flooding in the building.

During the suspension, retail services will be provided by the Vossburg Post Office, located at 642 County Road 39, Vossburg MS 39366-9998.  In addition, customers with P.O. Boxes at Heidelberg should pick up their mail at the Vossburg P.O.  Customers picking up parcels and items for which they receive a “Left Notice” slip, such as Certified Mail, should also do so at the Vossburg Post Office. Please bring photo ID to pick up mail.

Hours of operation at Vossburg are: Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to Noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.  On Saturday, hours are 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
