
ELIZABETH CITY—Kesha Holifield (left), Elizabeth City Postmaster, received the Diamond Award as 2009 Manager of the Year, Area 1 by the U.S. Postal Service, Greensboro District at a recent End-of-Year meeting. Holifield, a local resident, was recognized for her superior performance in reducing workhours, improved motor vehicle safety, and exemplary leadership. Said her manager, Post Office Operations Manager Linda Strong (right), “Your devotion to the service of our customers and the goals of the Postal Service is incomparable. Thank you!”
Greensboro District was ranked #1 nationally in Total Delivery Service for Fiscal Year 2009.
