Dee Strickland named postal Manager of the Year

GREENSBORO, NC — Editha “Dee” Strickland (right), Station Manager, Greensboro Post Office – Hilltop Carrier Annex, was honored as the 2009 Manager of the Year, Greensboro Post Office by the U.S. Postal Service, Greensboro District at a recent End-of-Year meeting. Strickland finished Fiscal Year 2009 as the manager of the top performing Post Office in Greensboro in financial performance, reduction of total workhours and overtime hours, reduction of employee sick leave usage, and in helping Greensboro Post Office to achieve record levels of performance in delivery service scores. Her station, Hilltop Annex, delivers all mail in the 27407 Zip Code area. Said Greensboro Postmaster Ronnie White, “Your devotion to the service of our customers and the goals of the Postal Service is incomparable. Thank you!”

Greensboro District was ranked # 1 nationally in Total Delivery Service for Fiscal Year 2009.
