FAYETTEVILLE, NC — The Postal Service wants to help customers avoid lines and hassle during the holiday season. More than 80 percent of the transactions inside a Post Office can be conducted online at usps.com. For those customers who want or need to conduct their transactions in person, Contract Postal Units (CPUs) are a convenient alternative.
Contract Postal Units (CPUs) provide customers access to Postal Services after normal business hours, wherever they live, work and shop.
CPUs offers all the regular services available in a Post Office with the exception of P.O. Boxes and money orders, in most cases. This includes domestic and international mail as well as insurance, delivery and signature confirmation and other extra services. CPUs sell postal products and services exclusively.
With hours that are often outside of traditional Post Office hours, CPUs can be just the place to take care of your postal needs.
CPUs can be found in the following locations in Fayetteville:
| Contract Postal Units | Address | City | State | ZIP |
| EAST FAYETTEVILLE CPU | 804 CEDAR CREEK RD | FAYETTEVILLE | NC | 28301 |
| PONDEROSA CPU | 5701 YADKIN RD | FAYETTEVILLE | NC | 28303 |
| SPEEDIPRINT CPU | 164 WESTWOOD SHOPPING CENTER | FAYETTEVILLE | NC | 28314 |
The Postal Service receives no taxpayer dollars for operating expenses, and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
