MORAVIAN FALLS, NC — Mark Hall, formerly Postmaster of Boonville, has officially been named Postmaster of Moravian Falls. Hall replaces Beth Berrong, who has been promoted to Postmaster of the Elkin.
Hall, a Wilkesboro resident, brings 25 years of government experience to the charge at Moravian Falls. Following his discharge from the U.S. Air Force in 1989, he began his postal career in Elkin in 1991 as a city letter carrier before being promoted to Supervisor, Customer Services in Wilkesboro. During his career Hall served in many positions of leadership in Mount Airy, Wilkesboro, Yadkinville, East Bend, Taylorsville, Jonesville and Millers Creek before coming to Moravian Falls. He is “bi-vocational,” serving also as Pastor, Calvary Baptist Church in North Wilkesboro. He is married to his wife of 25 years, Cindy, and they have two daughters, Mara and Maci.
“My goal is to provide the residents of Moravian Falls with excellent customer service,” said Hall. “I hope to bring my experience to this community to the benefit of all our customers.
In Moravian Falls, the Post Office is located at 1933 Moravian Falls Rd, where Hall is responsible for two employees and more than 650 Post Office Boxes. The office is open for retail business Monday-Friday 8:30 am – 12 noon and 1:00-4:00 pm, and on Saturday 8:30-10:30 am.
”We are the U.S. Postal ‘Service,’ said Hall. “With ‘service’ being part of our brand, it’s what we offer. I want to offer it to everyone to the best of my ability.”
