GREENSBORO — Battleground Station Post Office now offers an Automated Postal Center, a free-standing kiosk available in the lobby 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Located at 2941 Battleground Avenue in Greensboro, the APC is an alternative retail location for customers to conduct virtually all of their postal business. It is one of nine APCs available in the Triad area, part of the Postal Service’s efforts to expand access to its customers beyond the traditional, brick-and-mortar Post Offices.

APCs accept credit and debit cards and enable customers to weigh and mail letters and parcels and purchase stamps. It also dispenses postage in any amount for Express Mail, Priority Mail, First-Class Mail, and Parcel Post services. The APC also provides mailing information, ZIP Code lookup, and Delivery Confirmation services.

The APC is part of the expansion of locations in Greensboro and the Triad offering alternate access. In addition to the Post Offices, Contract Postal Units are also available at 18 locations in Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point, Kernersville, and other cities nearby. Face-value stamps are available at major retailers, including Harris Teeter, Food Lion, Walgreens and CVS Pharmacies, Staples and Wells Fargo Bank.

Customers will also find many traditional services by going online to www.usps.com, including purchasing stamps, printing mailing labels and postage for packages, and calling to arrange package pickup (Click-N-Ship). Locations of APCs in and near the Triad area are listed below.
