NORTH CAROLINA — The U.S. Postal Service, Greensboro District announces the opening or extending of Saturday retail hours for 40 select or “Premier” Post Offices throughout the northern half of the state on Saturday, February 15, the Saturday of President’s Day Weekend.
The offices listed will open its doors on February 15, at its normal weekday opening time until 3 pm. For example, Raleigh Capitol Station, normally open weekdays 9 am – 5 pm and closed Saturdays, will open Saturday, February 15 from 9 am – 3 pm. Fuquay-Varina Post Office, normally open weekdays 9 am – 5 pm and Saturdays 10 am – 12 noon, will open February 15 from 9 am – 3 pm.
The extended hours are designed to enhance customer access and convenience on weekends of major holidays, when the offices are closed on the following Monday. The list of offices with extended hours is below.
