New Village Post Office Now Open in Harmony 6 Days a Week

EAGLE SPRINGS To increase convenience and access to postal services, a new Village Post Office is now open in Eagle Springs. The Eagle Springs Mini Mart VPO, 1960 NC Highway 211, Eagle Springs, NC, is open seven days a week – Monday-Friday, 6:30 am – 8 pm, Saturday, 7 am – 8 pm and Sunday 12 noon – 7 pm..

Through the Postal Service’s Village Post Office (VPO) partnership with Eagle Springs Mini Mart, local residents and businesses in Eagle Springs, Candor, West End and surrounding areas, will enjoy the convenience of a Post Office. The Eagle Springs Village Post Office will provide a specific range of products and services that include booklets of First-Class postage stamps, Flat-Rate prepaid Priority Mail products and limited mail acceptance. The telephone number for this VPO is 910-687-9898. The postal authority overseeing this VPO is Charlotte Garner, Postmaster, Candor, NC.

The Village Post Office is a fairly new concept the Postal Service unveiled in 2011 for consideration in communities where there is no existing Post Office or where the Post Office will have reduced hours. VPOs are designed for non-Postal Service establishments, such as an existing community businesses, town halls, libraries, or government centers.
