HENDERSONVILLE, NC — The U.S. Postal Service will relocate the Hendersonville Post Office to a modern facility that continues to offer a level of service expected by our customers and a safe working environment for our employees.
A public meeting was held on July 7, 2016, at the Hendersonville City Hall to discuss the proposed move followed by a 30-day comment period. The Postal Service is sensitive to the impact of this decision on its customers and the community. After careful consideration of all expressed concerns, the Postal Service has decided to proceed with relocation to a yet-to-be-determined site.
Postal operations will continue at the existing location at 427 5th Ave., West, until the replacement facility is open and fully functional.
The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
