PINE LEVEL, NC — The U.S. Postal Service will relocate the Pine Level Main Post Office from 121 W. Pine St., to a larger, yet-to-be-determined location as close as reasonably possible to the current site. The new facility will allow the Postal Service to offer the full continuity of services while remaining convenient for customers and suitable for Postal Service’s expanding operational needs.

The Postal Service will continue retail services in the current Post Office until the new Post Office is up and running. The Postal Service does not anticipate any impact to mail delivery to Pine Level residents and businesses.

“The Postal Service greatly appreciates the input and support it has received from the community,” said Richard Hancock, Real Estate Specialist for the Postal Service. “The new location will allow us to better serve our customers.”

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
