WINDSOR, NC — The U.S. Postal Service reopened the Windsor Post Office at 130 N. King St., today, Sept. 19, and is providing full retail and P.O. Box service.
On Sept. 17, the Windsor Post Office was closed due to flooding.
“The Postal Service is pleased to reopen the Windsor Post Office and once again deliver excellent customer service to our community,” said Windsor Postmaster Phillip Marley. “We appreciate our customers’ patience.”
Retail hours at the Windsor Post Office are 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. The office is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. For more information, customers may contact the Windsor Post Office at 252-794-3155.
The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
