As the holiday mailing season hits its peak, several Post Offices in western North Dakota and eastern Montana will host Customer Appreciation Days, to thank residents and businesses for their patronage. All are invited to enjoy a treat and get mailing tips and assistance with their holiday mailings. Events are scheduled for:
Dec. 10: Dickinson, ND, 15 1st St. E, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Dec. 14: Williston, ND, 120 E. Broadway, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Dec. 15: Sidney, MT, 101 W. Holly St., 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Dec. 16: Minot, ND, 117 5th Ave. SW, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Dec. 17: Bismarck, ND, 2220 E. Bismarck Expy., 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
Lobby assistants will also be on hand to help customers prepare their mail and packages and manage window lines with the aid of Mobile Point of Sale mPOS technology. They will also offer quick tutorials on the Postal Service Self-Service Kiosk (SSK). By using the SSK, customers can skip the line at the retail window and enjoy the added convenience of 24/7 availability.
The Postal Service reminds customers to mail as early in the season as possible and to try to avoid the busiest mailing day of the year, Monday, Dec. 14. Additionally, customers are encouraged to mail early in the day, which allows postal processing centers to get a jump on the always-heavy holiday volumes.
