Keith Reid Named Omaha Postmaster

Keith ReidOMAHA, NE — Keith Reid has been named the 36th Postmaster of Omaha. As Postmaster, Reid is responsible for all delivery and retail operations in the Omaha area, which includes 893 employees, 21 retail stations, branches and carrier units, and 248,120 addresses served by more than 500 delivery routes.

Excellent mail service and customer satisfaction are high priorities for Reid.

“We want every postal transaction to be a satisfying one for our customers,” said Reid. “I am anxious to work with a great group of employees who are committed to providing the best possible service to our customers.”

Reid began his postal career as a carrier in Mountlake Terrace, WA. He has held numerous management positions including Manager Customer Services in Santa Fe, NM; Postmaster Cheyenne, WY; and Postmaster, Fort Collins, CO. Most recently Reid was Manager, Operations Programs Support for the Omaha-based Central Plains Postal District.

Reid and spouse Jenny have two young daughters.

Reid replaces former Omaha Postmaster EvaJon Sperling, who passed away in August.
