Greenland NH – According to the World Tourism Organization, international tourist arrivals grew 6% in the first six months of 2018 after a record year of growth in 2017. If you’re planning to travel abroad, now’s the time to get your travel documents in order and we can help. The Greenland Post Office is extending their passport application acceptance hours on Saturday, November 24, to make getting your passport easier.
Just come by the Greenland Post Office at 609 Portsmouth Ave. on Saturday, November 24, between 7:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. No appointment is necessary and postal clerks will be available to take your passport photo if you do not have one.
Greenland Postmaster Cindy Quetti says “With routine passport processing times of six weeks, it’s never too early to start planning for that next vacation, and the Postal Service is here to help.” She cites USPS.com as an excellent resource for getting passport paperwork and locating other acceptance facilities across the nation.
The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
