Emerson, NJ — The Emerson Post Office is inviting customers to experience convenience they can drive up to at the drive-thru retail window. The drive-thru window is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Saturdays, 9:30 a.m. to Noon.
“We added drive-up retail services to make it easier than ever to purchase stamps and conduct postal business” says Postmaster of Emerson, Timothy Thompson. The Postmaster also adds “In the last few days we have been experiencing record cold temperatures and a snow storm, all the more reason for parents with small children and seniors to take advantage of this quick and easy way to conduct postal business.”
Emerson is only 1 of 3 Post Offices in New Jersey offering this drive thru convenience. For postal customers not familiar with a postal retail drive-thru, it works just like a banks drive-thru. Customers can simply drive up to the window located on the left side of the building to purchase postage, stamps, money orders and postal products all without having to get out of their car.
It’s all about making it easier than ever for customers to take care of their shipping and mailing needs,” emphasizes Postmaster Thompson. “Of course, we’ll be more than happy to welcome our customers when they visit us inside the Post Office.” “They can expect the same friendly, courteous service they’ve come to rely on” concludes the Emerson Postmaster.
