August 24, 2009

BELLMAWR NJ—South Jersey Post Offices will be open Friday, September 4. However, some offices will shorten lobby hours and many offices will be closed by 1 p.m. The Bellmawr retail store located at 421 Benigno Blvd., in Bellmawr NJ, the Pleasantville retail store located at 752 Black Horse Pike, in Pleasantville NJ, and the Trenton Main Office Window, located at 680 US Highway 130 will close at 5 p.m.

In observance of the Labor Day weekend, many businesses modify operations and the number of customers visiting Post Office lobbies greatly diminishes. As such, Post Offices in some locations will close retail operations early September 4. Revised hours will be posted at each Post Office. To obtain the phone number of a specific Post Office, customers may call 1-800-ASK-USPS.

Commercial customers are asked to check with their Bulk Mail Acceptance Unit for September 4 hours of operation. Customers requiring postal services later that day are encouraged to contact their local postmaster. Regular mail delivery for this day will be unaffected by the change.

Post Offices will be closed Monday, September 7, and there will be no regular mail delivery except for Express Mail. All Post Offices will be open and regular mail delivery will resume Tuesday, September 8.
