Newark NJ — The Postal Service is observing the Columbus Day federal holiday on Monday, October 11, 2010. Only Express Mail will be delivered on Columbus Day with postal retail services limited to the self-service Automated Postal Center kiosks with 24/7 access. All Post Offices will re-open with regular mail delivery, collections, and retail services resuming on Tuesday, October 12.
Customers requiring postal services on the Columbus Day holiday can take advantage of the nineteen select Post Offices in Northern New Jersey that offer 24/7access to Automated Postal Centers (APCs) in their lobbies. They include:
