Officials are speaking to a group of Mt. Arlington seniors about fraud prevention as part of the National Consumer Protection Week community outreach.

This 45-minute presentation on fraud prevention to approximately 50 -60 Mt. Arlington senior citizens is part of National Consumer Protection Week, which runs from March 7–13.

This year’s National Consumer Protection Week theme: “Dollars and Sense: Rated A for All Ages,” highlights the importance of using good consumer sense at every stage of life — from grade school to retirement

National Consumer Protection Week is a nationwide program led by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to help customers become smarter consumers of products, materials and services, and improve their knowledge of how to combat fraud schemes.
