Hackensack, NJ — In an ongoing effort to support the local business community, Hackensack Postmaster Anthony LoPrinzi is hosting a free Grow Your Business Day seminar at the South Hackensack Post Office at 560 Huyler Street on Wednesday, October 31 at 10:30 a.m. The powerful one-hour session is designed to show local businesses how to market their companies, generate additional revenue, and grow business by taking advantage of Every Door Direct Mail – Retail, a convenient and easy to use direct mailing service from the Postal Service.

“Our newly introduced Every Door Direct Mail-Retail service lets marketers send promotional and advertising mail to their desired target audience without the need to acquire an address list or print specific names and addresses on the mail pieces,” advises Postmaster LoPrinzi. “No permit fees or annual fees are required and postage is as low as 14.5¢ per piece,” he adds. “Simply identify the targeted neighborhoods, drop the mail at the local Post Office retail counter, pay for the postage, and the printed piece is delivered with the day's mail to every address,” emphasizes Postmaster LoPrinzi.

The Postmaster explains mail is proven to be one of the most profitable marketing methods for businesses with a high return on investment when used effectively. Recipients get useful information and marketers get their messages in the hands of consumers.  Mail gives a one-to-one connection with consumers that‘s hard to match. Customers can read mail when time permits, keep it for future reference, and share it with others who might be interested.

Postmaster LoPrinzi recommends contacting USPS representative Maritza Torres at 732-819-3684 for any questions about the October 31 seminar or by email at GYBDs_Northern_New_Jersey@usps.gov. Extensive Every Door Direct Mail – Retail information is also available online, including a free kit on how to get started, at www.usps.com/everydoordirectmail.

"Small businesses are the cornerstones of our communities," says the Hackensack Postmaster. "In addition to offering us useful products and services, small businesses provide jobs and paychecks that are so important to the economic vitality of our area and the entire nation,” adds LoPrinzi. “The October 31 Grow Your Business Day seminar at the South Hackensack Post Office is our way of saying thanks and helping to stimulate the local economy in the Bergen County area," concludes the Hackensack Postmaster
