Postal Service to Provide Alternate Site Access for Longport and Ventnor Post Offices Affected by Storm

Bellmawr – The South Jersey District recently announced that the retail and Post Office Box operations for the Longport and Ventnor Post Offices will be relocated beginning Friday, November 2, 2012.

The Longport operations will be relocated to the Margate Post Office located at 8 S. Franklin Avenue in Margate NJ. The Ventnor operations will be relocated to the Atlantic City Post Office located at 1801 Atlantic Avenue, Ste. 101, in Atlantic City. This contingency has been established to allow customers to continue to receive mail. The district also announced the reopening of the Brigantine Post Office with limited retail services.

The United States Postal Service is committed to restoring regular delivery and mail service as quickly as possible to customers in affected areas. The Postal Service will continue to attempt mail  delivery in the Atlantic City and surrounding areas where there is safe access to roads and customers’ mail boxes.
