Sewaren, NJ – From September 12 - 24, postal operations will be temporarily relocated from the Sewaren Post Office, 85 Woodbridge Avenue to the nearby Port Reading Post Office, 605 Port Reading Avenue, approximately 1.5 miles away.  Mail delivery to street addresses remains unaffected and Sewaren Post Office Box customers can pick-up their mail at the Port Reading Post Office during the two week period.  The Sewaren Post Office is a 1,337 sq. ft. leased facility.  Normal operations are expected to resume at the Sewaren Post Office on September 26 following the successful completion of the necessary mold remediation work to the air conditioning ducts by the landlord’s contractor. 

The Port Reading Post Office retail business hours are: 
M, Wed-Fri:  8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
TUE:  7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
SAT:  10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
