CHATHAM, NJ — Postmaster Sonya Gilbert is inviting the public to the Chatham Post Office Open House on Wednesday, August 15 at 19 South Passaic Avenue. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Postmaster Gilbert and senior officials from the Postal Service’s Northern New Jersey District will be on hand talking to customers, giving a behind the scenes look at postal operations, distributing free Priority Mail shipping supplies, sharing valuable mailing and shipping tips, and soliciting community feedback. Light refreshments will be served.

- Calling the Chatham Post Office at 973-635-8400;
- Calling the Northern New Jersey District Consumer & Industry Contact Office at 732-819-3260;
- Calling the Postal Service’s Customer Care Center at 1-800-ASK-USPS, that’s 1-800-275-8777;
- Sending an email by visiting the Postal Service’s USPS.com website, clicking on “Contact Us” at the bottom of the homepage, and following the prompts;
- Voicing your opinion about a Post Office retail experience by participating in the Point Of Sale (POS) survey by following the directions on their retail sales receipt.
