NORTHERN NJ — Only Priority Express will be delivered and Post Offices will be closed on Monday, October 8; but applications can still be submitted for New Jersey postal job openings on Columbus Day at usps.com/.careers. Normal mail delivery, collections, and retail services will resume on Tuesday, October 9.
The Postal Service is the second largest employer in the United States and currently in the process of hiring new employees for the coming holiday season and beyond. Whether you prefer working outdoors, operating high tech sorting equipment, driving a truck or working at a retail counter, the Postal Service has various jobs with hours and locations available throughout New Jersey. Job openings are posted weekly at www.usps.com/careers.
The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
