To make shipping holiday cards and gifts more convenient for postal customers, 12 Albuquerque area Post Office retail facilities will offer special weekend retail hours – including two locations that will be open the next three Sundays, Dec. 3, 10 & 17, U.S. Postal Service officials announced today.
“We’re offering extra hours for the next four weekends to make holiday shipping easier for our customers,” said Albuquerque Postmaster Reece Steelman. “We especially encourage customers to take advantage of these special hours to get their cards, letters and gifts in the mail these next two weekends to avoid the extra traffic we expect to start on Monday, Dec. 18.”
The following 12 Post Office locations will offer Saturday holiday retail hours from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. In addition, Steve Schiff Station at 9719 Candelaria NE and the Rio Rancho Branch at 900 Pinetree Rd. SE will be open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. the next three Sundays, Dec. 3, 10 and 17:
