Brooklyn’s Kensington Post Office to Host Automated Postal Center Demo’s & Open House

Background: In order to educate consumers about alternative ways to conduct postal business the Kensington Post Office will hold an open house on October 30th. During the three hour event one on one demonstrations of the APC’s capabilities will be available from Postal Service customer service experts. A special visit by Brooklyn Borough President, Marty Markowitz will offer a photo opportunity for the media and light refreshments will be served.

The APC is located in the Kensington Station Post Office’s lobby at 419 McDonald Ave in Brooklyn. Postal customers have extended access to the APC Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

A total of 16 Post Offices in Brooklyn offer Automated Postal Centers. They are Cadman Plaza Station, Parkville Station, Pratt Station, Fort Hamilton Station, Bath Beach Station, Van Brunt Station, Times Plaza, Blythebourne Station, Greenpoint Station, Ryder Retail Station, Homecrest Retail Station, Kingsway Retail, Midwood Station, Dumbo Station and Kensington.
