USPS Suspends Service During President Obama and Former President Clinton’s Global Initiative Conference

NEW YORK, NY — In the interest of safety and security, postal officials will seal blue mail collection boxes at select Manhattan locations during a visit from former President Clinton. Former President Clinton will host a "Global Initiative" conference at the Sheraton Hotel. The event will be attended by a number of VIPs and heads of state, including President Obama on Tuesday, September 25, 2012.

The boxes are to be sealed with the final collection scheduled for Friday Sept 21, 2012 and reopened on Wednesday Sept 26, 2012 on its first scheduled collection.
