Making way for Macy’s Herald Square multi-million dollar renovations

MANHATTAN, NY — The U. S. Postal Service (USPS) announced today that it will be vacating its retail space occupied within Macy’s Herald Square store located on the 9th floor at 151 West 34th Street, New York, NY 10001.  The last day for USPS retail services at the location is January 10, 2014.

The announcement came after a request from Macy’s Retail Holdings, Inc (Macy’s) informing the USPS that as a result of a multi-million dollar renovation project the store is undergoing; they must reclaim the space before the closure date of January 15.  

Customers may choose to visit one of three retail stations located within a .04 mile radius from the Macy’s Finance Station:
