NEW YORK CITY— The USPS is preparing to relocate its Peter Stuyvesant post office in Manhattan to its new address at 335 East 14th Street, 10009.

Earlier last year the postal service was informed by the building owner that the lease agreement would not be renewed which began the process to find new commercial space.  The renovations at the new address are almost completed with relocation anticipated at the end of February or early March.  The hours of operation at the new address will remain the same:

Monday thru Friday:  9:00AM – 5:30PM
Saturday:  9:00AM – 4:00PM

The USPS anticipates a smooth transition to the new address.  Customers can expect the same retail and post office box services from the same postal staff many have come to know by first name.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses, and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
