NEW YORK, NY — The USPS is happy to announce that renovations for the new Peter Stuyvesant post office are completed. The community can expect to conduct their postal business at the new location starting on Monday, February 24, 2014.
Customers are asked to visit the new post office at its new address, 335 East 14th Street, 10009 which is one block over from the present address starting next week. The hours of operation at the new address will remain the same.
Retail and Post Office Box Services Hours:
Monday thru Friday: 9:00AM – 5:30PM
Saturday: 9:00AM – 4:00PM
Manager Yvonne Mullings and the staff at the Peter Stuyvesant post office look forward to welcoming their frequent customers and the community to the new state of the art facility. Customers can expect the same retail and post office box services from the same postal staff many have come to know by first name.
The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses, and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
