
ASTORIA, QUEENS, NY — The USPS is happy to announce that renovations for the new Astoria Post Office are near completion. Postmaster Michael Menasche announces that the community can expect to conduct their postal business at the new location starting this Saturday, May 24, 2014
Customers are asked to visit the Astoria Post Office at its new address, 30-11 21st Street, Astoria, NY 11102, which is in the same vicinity of the present address, starting Saturday. The hours of operation at the new address are:
Retail Window Counter Hours:
Monday thru Friday: 9:00AM – 5:00PM
Saturday: 9:00AM – 1:00PM
Post Office Box Service Hours:
Monday thru Friday: 7:00AM – 5:00PM
Saturday: 7:00AM – 1:00PM
Postmaster Menasche and the staff at the Astoria Post Office look forward to welcoming their frequent customers and the community to the new state-of-the-art facility. Customers can expect the same retail and post office box services – and will be greeted by the same professional postal staff many have come to know by first name.
The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses, and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
