Gopost kiosk units are free parcel lockers that benefit customers with busy lifestyles.

When you hear the latest postal term “gopost,” know that convenience is the purpose of the U.S. Postal Service’s new self-service kiosk and free parcel lockers. Now you can pick-up or send packages using the Postal Services newest innovation – which has come to Brooklyn first - gopost®.

Gopost hubs have been launched in two locations in Brooklyn. One is located in the lobby of the Cadman Plaza Main Post Office and the second can be found outside of the Williamsburg Station. Both locations offer 24-hour access for shipping and receiving packages using the self-service kiosk and parcel lockers. As an added bonus, local residents within these communities can redirect package delivery from their physical address to gopost in the same ZIP Code vicinity of the Williamsburg (11211) and Cadman Plaza (11201) post office stations.

Using gopost has many innovative benefits:

  • Enables customers to receive and ship packages 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year
  • Gopost units are designed for on-the-go lifestyles and offer service without waiting on lines at the post office
  • Delivery of packages to gopost - for your pick up anytime - which frees up your time instead of waiting for your mail carrier to deliver packages
  • Gopost hubs are secure and convenient free parcel lockers and a self service kiosk
  • Email or text notification alerts customers when their package has arrived at gopost
  • Customers in the delivery zones of Cadman Plaza (11201) and Williamsburg Station (11211) now have unique opportunities to redirect packages – which were attempted for delivery while they were out – to a free gopost parcel locker.

Gopost is the Postal Service’s latest effort to provide greater convenience, expanded access and more options to better serve our valued customers.

Customers on the go who work during the day or are out of town for extended periods, can choose to receive packages at the free gopost unit.

Customers also can send packages around the clock by logging into the kiosk screen at any gopost with their unique user ID and PIN number. Simply scan the prepaid package label and deposit the package in an empty locker. The postal service does all the work and customers enjoy the time-saving benefits.
