NEW YORK, NY – The US Postal Service is planning to relocate the retail services from the Archer Avenue Station Post Office currently located at 14721 Archer Avenue, Jamaica, New York to a yet-to-be-determined new location as close as reasonably possible to the existing site.  The Postal Service needs to relocate because the City of New York plans to take and utilize the existing property as part of its Station Plaza Enhancement Project.  Additional project information is posted in the lobby.

The Postal Service will be making a presentation about the relocation before Queens Community Board 12 at its public meeting scheduled for September 17, 2014 being held at the Robert Ross Johnson Family Life Center, 172-17 Linden Boulevard, St. Albans, New York.  The meeting is planned to start at 7:00 pm.  Additionally, for 15 days after the public meeting, anyone may submit written comments to the address below for the Postal Service’s consideration.
