Hensonville, NY – Effective immediately, customer service and delivery operations are being temporarily relocated today from the Hensonville Post Office at 395 State Route 296 to the nearby Windham Post Office at 5365 State Route 23. Pipes were leaking in the apartment above the Hensonville Post Office.

Postal retail services are available at the nearby Windham Post Office approximately 2.6 miles away. Mail delivery to all street addresses remains unaffected. Hensonville Post Office Box customers can pick-up their mail at the Windham Post Office during regular business hours: Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. – 5 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. For security, photo identification is required for Post Office Box mail pick-up.

No mail in the facility was damaged as a result of the leaks. No timetable has been established for return to the leased 859 sq. ft. Hensonville Post Office.

Customers with questions or comments about their mail service can call toll-free 1-800-ASK-USPS (1-800-275-8777) or send an e-mail to the Postal Service by following the prompts on the Contact Us page at USPS.com.
