Smallwood, NY — In the interest of public and employee safety, customer service operations are temporarily relocated from the Smallwood Post Office at 220 Pine Grove Road to the White Lake Post Office at 1447 State Route 17B. Repairs are needed to fix a leaky roof at the Smallwood Post Office.
Full postal retail services are available at the nearby White Lake Post Office approximately 1.5 miles away. Smallwood Post Office Box customers can pick-up their mail at the White Lake Post Office during regular retail business hours: Mon. – Fri. 8 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. Saturday hours are 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. For security, photo identification is required for Post Office Box mail pick-up at the counter.
No mail was damaged as a result of the leaks and no timetable has been established for return to the leased 1,351 sq. ft. Smallwood Post Office.
