Greater Hudson Valley, NY— The USPS Palisades Postal Store at the Mall in West Nyack is the lone Post Office in the Greater Hudson Valley that is open for business on Saturday, July 4. Located on the third level of the Mall, the Palisades Postal Store will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on July 4. Only Priority Mail Express will be delivered and most Post Offices will be closed across the country on July 4 in observance of the Independence Day federal holiday. Normal mail delivery, collections, and postal retail operations will resume on Monday, July 6.
Customers requiring postal retail services on July 4 can also take advantage of the fourteen select Post Offices in the Greater Hudson Valley that offer 24/7access to state-of-the-art Self Service Ship & Mail Centers in their lobbies. Formerly called Automated Postal Centers, Self Service Ship & Mail Centers are state-of-the-art self-service kiosks that enable customers to weigh and ship packages, buy postage, mail letters, look up ZIP Codes and access other mailing information.
The fourteen 24/7 access Self Service Ship & Mail Center kiosks are located in the following Post Office lobbies in the Greater Hudson Valley: Larchmont at 1 Chatsworth Avenue, Scarsdale at 29 Chase Road, White Plains Main at 100 Fisher Avenue, Mount Kisco at 3 Morgan Drive, New City at 245 N Main Street, Hopewell Junction at 815 Route 82, East Station at 915 Yonkers Avenue in Yonkers, Hartsdale at 441 Central Park Avenue, Rye at 41 Purdy Avenue, Monsey at 15 Melnick Drive, Nanuet at 10 W Prospect Street, South Road Station at 2572 South Road in Poughkeepsie, Wappingers Falls at 71 E Main Street, and Yorktown Heights at 2020 Maple Hill Street.
