You can perform a number of postal transactions at the kiosks including weighing and shipping packages, buying postage, mailing letters, looking up ZIP Codes and accessing other mailing information. Special services like certified mail and insurance are also available.
While the Postal Service is observing Independence Day on Saturday, Post Offices will be open on Friday July 3rd and will re-open with regular mail delivery, collections, and retails services on Monday, July 6th.
The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
