The Lynbrook Post Office NOW processes passports with family friendly hours

Lynbrook, NY — Lynbrook Postmaster, Pete Daniels and his team have expanded the services offered at the Lynbrook Post Office to include Passport Acceptance.  Weekend and late hours are available for customer convenience.  The Post Office is located at 100 Broadway, Lynbrook. Call for an appointment at 516-599-0392. Passport Hours are:

Monday & Tuesday

Closed

Wednesday

9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Thursday

11:00 am – 7:00 pm

Friday

9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Saturday

8:00 am – 4:00 pm

Sunday

8:00 am – 4:00 pm

Helpful tips for applying for a passport:
► Fill out the application (DS11), before you come to the post office – but don’t sign it.
► Bring proof of US citizenship (provide one of the following)

  • Previous fully valid U.S. Passport
  • Certified U.S. birth certificate
  • Consular Report of Birth Abroad or Certification of Birth
  • Certificate of Naturalization or Citizenship

► Proof of identity (Current, valid driver’s license – Government employee ID – Military ID)
► Children under age 16, both parents must be present.
► Lynbrook postal officials can take the photographs for a $15.00 fee per person.
