Postal Service Joins Security Efforts of NYC

Papal Visit and UN General Assembly Impacts 36 Collection Boxes

NEW YORK CITY, NY –    In the interest of safety and security, postal officials will remove blue mail collection boxes at select Manhattan locations during the Papal visit in New York City.

The boxes will be removed after the final collection scheduled for Sunday, September 20, 2015 and replaced for service again for Monday, September 28, 2015.
