Lynbrook, NY — Lynbrook Postmaster Pete Daniels and his team will host a ribbon cutting and Grand Opening of the Lynbrook Passport Office at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, October 21st at the Lynbrook Post Office, located at 100 Broadway, Lynbrook, NY. The office will be strictly dedicated to processing passports and offer weekend and late hours for customer convenience.
According to World Tourism Organization, 20 million American tourists journeyed abroad through the first four months of 2015, a 7 percent increase over that period last year — and the Lynbrook Post Office wants to help travelers prepare for such future excursions.
Next year, New York licenses may not be accepted as valid ID to board domestic flights within the United States. A passport is another form of ID that is accepted for flight boarding. For more information on the Real ID Act and travel, click here Licenses and domestic travel
