NEW YORK, NY – In the interest of safety and security, postal officials will seal blue collection mailboxes along the route of the NYC Halloween Parade taking place on October 31, 2015. Boxes will be sealed after the last collection that afternoon and reopened on Monday, November 2, 2015.
The parade route will travel from:
- 6th Avenue from Spring Street to East 15th Street
- Sullivan Street between Spring and Broome Street
- Spring Street between inner roadway of 6th Avenue and Varick Street
- Little Broome Street between 6th Avenue and Varick Street
- Dominick Street between 6th Avenue and Varick Street
- Inner roadway of 6th Avenue between Broome Street and Spring Street
- 6th Avenue between Canal and Spring Street
