Learn how easy it is to ship during the holidays
Oneonta, NY — Looking for ways to grow your business this holiday season without spending a lot of money on advertising and promotion? Or do you need to cut the cost of shipping orders to customers?
The Oneonta Post Office is hosting an open house to help small and mid-size businesses — home-based businesses too — to understand how easy it is to use the mail to reach new and existing customers, Thursday, Dec. 3 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Oneonta Post Office, 352 Main St.
Postmaster Judy Kessler and West Oneonta Postmaster Dawna Ross will be in the lobby demonstrating how small and mid-sized businesses can get the most for their postal dollar. They will demonstrate:
- Click-N-Ship® on usps.com that allows businesses to create shipping labels with postage from a home or work computer. As an added bonus, consumers receive discounts on postage by printing their own labels with Click-N-Ship postage.
- Priority Mail Regional Rate® pricing is a low-cost shipping alternative for commercial and online customers who are currently using Priority Mail or Merchandise Return Service.
- Every Door Direct Mail® service is an easy, cost-effective way to reach potential customers near your business.
- Tracking: How to sign up for text and email alerts through my.usps.com to track the delivery status of packages.
- How to request free Package Pickup.
“We are excited to meet with businesses as well as educate them on our services,” said Kessler.
