Westcheter officials support National Consumer Protection Week

What:

In support of National Consumer Protection Week (NCPW) 2015, the United States Postal Service and U.S. Postal Inspection Service will host a special Information Sharing Event to help Westchester consumers improve their ability to combat crime and for businesses to grow revenue. Postal Inspection Service officials will be on hand to distribute valuable fraud prevention materials and discuss how citizens, especially seniors, can avoid becoming victims of the latest scams. Postal mailing and marketing experts will also be available for businesses to learn how to grow revenue.

Details:

The United States Postal Service’s Westchester District and the Postal Inspection Service’s New York Division are joining other federal, state and local government agencies and consumer protection organizations across the country to support the 2015 NCPW educational and community outreach initiative. The primary goal of the White Plains NCPW Info-Sharing Event is provide consumers with information to help combat fraud and give businesses ideas on growing revenue.
