NEW YORK, NY — In the interest of safety and security, postal officials will seal or remove Postal Service collection boxes on Friday, February 3, in New York City.
The familiar blue collection boxes will be inaccessible after the final scheduled collection of mail on the evening of Friday, February 3. Impacted collection boxes will be reopened on the morning of Monday, February 6.
US Mail Collection Boxes impacted at the following locations:- Both sides of Christopher Street – between Blecker Street and Greenwich Avenue
- Both sides of Waverly Place – between Charles Street and Gay Street
- Both Sides of 7th Avenue – between Charles Street and Grove Street
- Both Sides of Greenwich Avenue – between Charles Street and 6th Avenue
- Both Sides of West 10th Street – between Blecker Street and Greenwich Avenue.
