Richford Post Office Topic of Wednesday Town Hall Session

Seeking location for possible return to postal services in Richford

What:

A representative from the Postal Service will attend Tuesday’s Town Board Meeting to discuss the possible restoration of retail services provided by the Richford Post Office. This “new space project” will consist of procuring a suitable substitute location, preparing the new location for use as a post office and then transitioning the retail services to the new location.

Town Board Meeting on Wednesday, September 13th at 6:30 p.m. The Council meeting will be held at the Richford, NY Town Hall

What:

The Postal Service has been engaged in national re-evaluation of its facilities and is     considering the potential relocation of the retail services previously provided at the
Richford, NY Post Office formerly located at 13299 State Road 38 to a yet-to-be determined location. 

This presentation at Town Hall will discuss this process and proposal used by the Postal Service.  Written comments on the proposal, which will be accepted for 30 days, should be sent to:
