Chillicothe and Portsmouth Post Office Hours Modified for July 3

Post Offices Will Have Abbreviated Hours

Columbus, OH—Post Offices in the 456 ZIP Code service areas will modify their retail hours on July 3, 2009. Offices affected are:

Chillicothe 40 S. Walnut St., Chillicothe, OH 45662; Full Retail Services 8:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Story Place 629 Central Center, Chillicothe, Oh 45662; Full Retail Services 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Portsmouth 610 Gay St., Chillicothe, OH 45601 Full Retail Services 8:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Portsmouth (Sciotoville) 423 Harding Ave., Portsmouth, OH 45662 Full Retail Services 8:30 a.m. – noon

Many Post Offices and branches in central, eastern and southeastern Ohio will also be operating on abbreviated hours on July 3. Customers should please check with their local Post Offices for their individual July 3, 2009 hours. Mail will be delivered as usual on Friday, July 3. But on July 4th, there won’t be any mail delivery and all retail units will be closed.
