Cleveland, OH — Most Cleveland-area Post Offices will will close at 2 p.m. on July 3rd in observance of the Independence Day holiday, except for the following:
- Erieview Station, 1240 E. 9th St., – closed
- Lakewood Branch, 1475 Warren Rd., will close at 5 p.m.
- Cleveland Heights Branch, 3 Severence Circle, will close at 5 p.m.
- South Euclid Branch, 1568 S. Green Rd., will close at 5 p.m.
- Beachwood Branch, 3695 Green Rd., will close at 5 p.m.
- Lydhurst/Mayfield Branch, 5815 Landerbrook Dr., will close at 5 p.m.
- Midpark Branch, 13301 Smith Rd., will close at 5 p.m.
- Independence Branch, 6509 Brecksville Rd., will close at 5 p.m.
- Strongsville Branch, 15500 Pearl Rd., will close at 5 p.m.
- Westlake Branch, 27300 Center ridge Rd., will close at 5 p.m.
In addition, the main Cleveland Post Office at 2200 Orange Ave. will close at 5 p.m. The Airport Station, 5801 Postal Road, will be open from 4 p.m. until midnight.
P.O. Box mail access will only be available until 2:00 p.m. in those Post Offices where retail counters and access to Post Office Boxes are co-located and are affected by early retail closing. Offices with 24-hour box access are not affected.
Mail will be delivered on July 3rd. Last mail pickup from the blue collection boxes on July 3rd will be at noon, unless there is an earlier scheduled pick-up time listed.
There will be no mail delivery or mail collection on July 4th, although Express Mail will be delivered.
